SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
The guest who will be entering the simulator cockpit must meet these physical and mental requirements.
- Over 4'8" tall.
- Under 280 pounds.
- Only CLOSED TOE SHOES, no flip flops, crocs, or heels.
- No sensitivity to flashing lights, motion, loud noises.
- Will follow verbal instructions in English.
- Physically able bodied to enter and exit the aircraft.
- No pacemakers or medical aids sensitive to magnets.

As one of the anchor attractions at PTA we are once again bringing out our REAL U.S. NAVY JET FIGHTER TRAINER FLIGHT SIMULATOR. Every pilot who flew in the TOP GUN movie trained in a T-2 Buckeye before graduating to the F-14 Tomcat.

T-2 Buckeye
In 1974 Singer Simulation Division delivered this T-2C Buckeye Synthetic Flight Trainer to the U.S. Navy. It operated as an analog training simulator for decades until its retirement in the 1990s.
We obtained the surplus simulator and restored it to 100% flyable and working condition to train commercial operators of the T-2 Buckeye.

This simulator started its life as a real World War II flying airplane that was built by North American Aviation and delivered to the U.S. Army Air Force in the 1940s. After the war it was converted into a "Dilbert Dunker" water escape trainer. Later it was sold to the civilian surplus market. In 2021 purchased the aircraft and spent several years restoring it as the worlds only AT-6D training simulator. All controls, instruments, and switches work! A thunderous sound system and modern computer graphics in immerse you in the simulation!
